It was with joy and excitement that we welcomed Reverend Sarah Carwardine to St George’s and St John Baptist Claines for her licensing service on Wednesday 5 June. Around 150 clergy, congregations, friends and family filled the church, as did their voices with some joyful songs and hymns. Members of the churches and the community welcomed Sarah and presented her with symbols of her role and ministry. What a wonderful celebration!
